Changes with heating and cooling! Methyl cellulose and HPMC
Cellulose derivatives that form a thermoreversible gel that gels upon heating and returns to a sol upon cooling.
At Unitec Foods, we handle the 'Heat Gel / Heat Sol Series' which consists of methylcellulose and HPMC. This product has a unique feature of gelling and thickening when a water solution is heated, and returning to its original state upon cooling. The temperature at which thermal gelation begins and the degree of gelation and thickening vary by grade, allowing for use under various conditions. 【Features】 ■ The raw material is plant pulp ■ Reversible thermal gelation and thickening effect ■ The degree of gelation and thickening can be adjusted to various conditions ■ Possesses high emulsifying power and maintains emulsification even during heating due to the thermal gel effect ■ Does not have an HLB like emulsifiers, allowing for emulsification under a wide range of conditions regardless of O/W or W/O systems *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
